Happy New Year!

NYE was such a fun night, despite the mildly shit weather. 2017 was highly anticipated for me, not really because last year was bad, it was more of a time that to make changes and start fresh. 2016 was kind of a weird year. For one thing, I was in high school at the start of the year and now I am in uni, which seemed to throw everything that happened before uni into the very distant past. A lot of changes happened in the past year in such short time, which forced me to stop taking time out to adjust, and instead I had to go with the flow and take everything in as they are happening. The biggest lesson that 2016 taught me, especially towards the end of the year, was to go with the flow and say 'yes' to opportunities and new ideas without overthinking it.

I think I have changed a lot in the past few months, especially my mindset, and I have a very high expectation of 2017, so here are my resolutions for this year:

+ Learn Japanese
+ Learn to drive (and pass my driving test obvsly)
+ Join more sports
+ Paint more
+ Take more photos
+ Save up money for travelling (+start making plans for travelling)
+ Keep up with fitness
+ Go with the flow
+ Enjoy the moment
+ Do only what I want to do, not what others want

>>

As exciting as my resolutions sound, my first week of 2017 consisted of binge watching TV shows, fucked up sleeping patterns, mild hangovers, and general unproductiveness. Anyway, I thought I would mention how bomb my makeup was for nye- blue smokey eye + a heck lot of glitter = a good time.

Hope 2017 is a good one for yall.
